Submitting work
An assignment accepts a file, a text response, or a link, depending on how the instructor set it up. The submission screen shows which.
Before the deadline
Your work is saved as a draft as you go. A draft is yours alone — instructors cannot see it — until you press Submit.
Submitting before the deadline means the submission is marked on time. After it, the submission is still accepted and still graded, but it is flagged as late for the instructor. Whether that costs marks is your organisation's policy, not a rule the platform enforces.
Resubmitting
If the assignment allows resubmission, you can replace your work until the deadline passes or the submission is graded, whichever comes first. Grading closes the assignment: once feedback exists, changing the work under it would leave the feedback describing something that no longer exists.
If you need to replace graded work, ask your instructor to reopen it.
Grades and feedback
A graded submission shows the mark, the rubric if one was used, and the instructor's comments. You are notified when it lands.
Where a rubric was used, the mark is the sum of its criteria — the breakdown tells you where the marks went, which the total alone cannot.
